GHMC to seek HUDCO loan

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation standing committee on Thursday unanimously agreed to take the assistance of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) to complete pending works pertaining to Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) and Valmiki Ambedkar Awas Yojana (VAMBAY) schemes.
Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation standing committee on Thursday unanimously agreed to take the assistance of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) to complete pending works pertaining to Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) and Valmiki Ambedkar Awas Yojana (VAMBAY) schemes.
The committee has sent proposals to the State government seeking Rs 440.42 crore HUDCO loan to finish the housing projects. The standing committee meeting chaired by Mayor Bonthu Rammohan passed a resolution to implement drought dearness allowance in GHMC limits. The committee gave clearance to six proposals and rejected one from the total items tabled.
