SIT notices to 4 govt doctors likely in Nayeem case
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the deeds of slain gangster Nayeemuddin is set to send notices to four government doctors, who have given false post-mortem reports in cases linked to the gangster.
​Hyderabad: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the deeds of slain gangster Nayeemuddin is set to send notices to four government doctors, who have given false post-mortem reports in cases linked to the gangster.
It is learnt that the SIT has unearthed direct involvement of Nayeemuddin alias Nayeem in 24 murder cases. The gangster has managed in getting false post-mortem reports in connivance with the government doctors, sources said.
The sources said that in four cases of murder, the doctors concerned have given false reports that the deaths were normal and were not suspicious.
The SIT officials have also sent letters to the Director General of Stamps and Registrations, requesting him to furnish details of the lands registered in the name of Nayeem and also some officials who are facing allegations of having links with the gangster, the sources added.
Meanwhile, the RGIA police on Monday took Nayeem’s associates Faheem and Srihari into custody for questioning.
The SIT has so far booked 99 cases against Nayeem and his associates on charges of extortion, kidnapping and murders.
