Fixing geographical boundaries of Siddipet dist challenged

Justice C Praveen Kumar of the High Court at Hyderabad on Wednesday ordered notices in writ petitions filed, challenging the geographical boundaries of newly-formed Siddipet district and non-formation of Korutla Revenue division.

The judge was dealing with petitions filed by Advocates’ Association, Husnabad. The petitioner complained that the government had failed to consider objections filed not to include Husnabad and Koheda Revenue mandals in the new district of Siddipet were not considered.

The Korutla Revenue Division Sadhana Samithi challenged constitution of Metpalli revenue division instead of Korutla in newly formed Jagitayla district. The judge granted time to the government to respond.
