Japanese delegation keen to invest in Telangana
A Japanese delegation, headed by Energy Solutions president Yoshinori Yamashita, called on Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Chairman G Balla Mallu here on Saturday.
​Hyderabad: A Japanese delegation, headed by Energy Solutions president Yoshinori Yamashita, called on Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Chairman G Balla Mallu here on Saturday.
The TSIIC Chairman explained to the delegation the potential investment opportunities in the State and also the proactive investment policies and processes like TSiPASS initiated under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Industries Minister K Taraka Rama Rao.
He made a special mention of Telangana State standing first in the country in ease of doing business (EODB).
The delegation expressed its satisfaction over the policies of the the government and has shown keen interest in bringing investments in manufacturing, pharma and related sectors.
They also expressed their intent to invite a delegation of officials of Industries Department to Japan to interact with prospective investors in Japan to promote investments in the State.
The TSIIC Chairman agreed to take up the request with the government and respond to them at the earliest.
