As Telangana is celebrating three years of statehood, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao launched the KCR Kits distribution programme at Government Maternity Hospital in Petlaburj, Hyderabad on Saturday.
As Telangana is celebrating three years of statehood, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao launched the KCR Kits distribution programme at Government Maternity Hospital in Petlaburj, Hyderabad on Saturday.
The state government will be depositing Rs 12,000 in a woman’s account if a baby boy is delivered and Rs 13,000 for a baby girl in order to encourage more deliveries in government hospitals.
The KCR kit consists of essentials including baby shampoo, oil, diapers and sarees worth Rs 2,500 each apart from the financial assistance.
The government officials launched the scheme in Telangana after examining the Amma kit in Tamil Nadu which is being implemented successfully.
