Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Tuesday informed that 125-feet statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar would be installed on December 6, 2018.
Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Tuesday informed that 125-feet statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar would be installed on December 6, 2018.
The Deputy CM, who heads the committee for construction of 125-feet tall statue of Dr. Ambedkar, has expressed anger over delay in execution of the proposal. While holding a review meeting the officials on Tuesday, he directed them to expedite the works. He said the agency to execute the proposal should be finalised by this month end and the DPR should be ready by next month.
He also directed the Global Tenders for construction of statue should be called by October and tenders should be finalised by November end. He said that the statue should be ready for installation on December 6, 2018.
