Hyderabad: Engineering student Ganesh, who went missing on July 6, was found by the police in Bharatnagar. He was handed over to his parents on Wednesday. According to the police, Ganesh, a student of Vignana Bharati Institute of Technology (VBIT), left for Bhadrachalam along with his girlfriend on July 5. After reaching the temple town they rented a room in a lodge.

The girl gave her gold ornaments to Ganesh asking him to sell them to arrange money for immediate expenses. However, the girl left the room as Ganesh did not return for hours. She reached her relatives place near Bhadrachalam.

As the whereabouts of Ganesh could not be known, his father Agamaiah approached the police fearing for his son's safety. Accordingly, police launched a manhunt and found Ganesh in Bharatnagar area of Kukatpally late on Tuesday night. Denying the reports about elopement, Ganesh said they went to Bhadrachalam only to have the darshan of Lord Rama but their trip was misunderstood by all.
