Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief Spokesperson Dr. Dasoju Sravan has strongly condemned IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao for his remarks against AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Twitter.

Sravan said Digivijay Singh is a senior politician who had served as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for three terms. However, by trying to insult Digvijay Singh, KTR is only displaying his arrogance and lack of basic mannerism. "Ridiculing a Senior National Leader @digvijaya_28 that too a 3Term CM of 4th Largest State in the County #MP 2Retire is Sheer Arrogance of Power," Sravan said in his Tweet.

He said Digvijay Singh had rightly raised suspicion over the fate of investigation into the drugs case as the TRS Government had earlier hushed up the cases pertaining to gangster Nayeem.

Sravan said that the Telangana has become hub for narcotics, illicit liquor, Hukka centres, pubs and other unauthorised activities after TRS came to power. However, no stringent action was taken to curb such activities. He said why no action was being taken against the managements of corporate schools who are allegedly involved in supply or sale of narcotics. He said even selective film personalities were being targeted by the TRS Government in this case. "Why Selective Haunting Only of Few FilmStars/Directors in #DrugAbuse? What happened 2News of #DrugAbuse in Corporate Schools?" he Tweeted.

The Congress leader also alleged that KTR and the drugs case was being highlighted by the TRS Government to divert the attention of people and media from the multi-crore Miyapur land scam. "Highlighting Drug Abuse of FilmStars is Deceitful Act of @KTRTRS Govt 2Divert Media/People 4m #MiyapurLandScam, Tweeted Sravan.
