Two killed in road mishap after car rams Metro pillar

In a tragic road accident, two people were killed after a car rammed into a Metro Rail pillar in Saroornagar on Thursday.

The accident even resulted in a homeless person sleeping on the median near the pillar getting severely injured. Identified as Ganesh, he is being treated in a hospital and his condition is said to be critical.

Three others travelling in the car managed to escape with minor injuries and are undergoing treatment in hospital.

Police have registered a case and investigation is going on. The details of the people travelling in the car are being ascertained.
