IT and Muncipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao lashed out at Congress leader Jairam Ramesh over the latter's allegations of corruption.
The Congress leader had alleged that two companies owned by KTR and BJP's vice-presidential candidate Venkaiah Naidu’s son had placed orders for cars worth a few hundred crores in contravention of rules in 2014.
Responding to the allegations and condemning them, KTR said that the Congress leaders who are being rejected at the state and central levels are playing cheap politics in order to remain in the public eye.
Strongly refuting the charge that orders were placed through a firm owned by him, the Minister demanded the Congress leader to provide proof of the allegations of irregularities or tender unconditional apologies for his remarks.
