A delegation of 11 IAS officers and 9 trainee officers, led by Special Chief Secretary Ajaya Mishra, on Saturday visited the Kaleswaram Project, near Karimnagar and expressed satisfaction over the progress after going round it for more than two and half hours. 

Hyderabad: A delegation of 11 IAS officers and 9 trainee officers, led by Special Chief Secretary Ajaya Mishra, on Saturday visited the Kaleswaram Project, near Karimnagar and expressed satisfaction over the progress after going round it for more than two and half hours.

They appreciated the progress made by contractor, Megha Engineering and Infrastructure, of the project. They inspected works being executed under package-8, an important package.

The delegation constituted senior bureaucrats Chitra Ramachandran, Rajeshwar Tiwari, Rajiv Trivedi, Sasank Goyal, Sunil Sarma, G Ashok Kumar, Jayesh Ranjan, Vikas Raj, N Sivasankar, B Venkatesam, Anita Rajendra and others.

They inspected underground pump house, surge pool, twin tunnels, 400 kv sub-station delivery cistern, delivery mains, gravity canals and so on. They sought details from project officials on material, machinery, man power used and since when the works are going on.

Megha engineering director B Srinivas Reddy, assistant general manager G Ramakrishna and Krishna Reddy and others appraised the officials about the progress.
