Hyderabad: Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Sharma on Sunday flagged off 2K Run organised by the Indian Psychiatric Society-Telangana State Branch and Hyderabad Psychiatric Society marking World Suicide Prevention Day at People’s Plaza here with the slogan ‘Take a Minute- Change a Life’.

Speaking on the occasion, the DGP said there should not be any suicides. If a person, who wants to commit suicide, should think one second before committing suicide, because suicide is not the solution for the problem, he admitted. Anurag Sharma suggested to the people to give good advice to those, who are contemplating to commit suicides. Several psychiatrists and youth in large numbers participated in the run.
