Girl students of OU stage rasta roko
Girl students of Osmania University staged a rasta roko on Friday in the campus premises demanding that the university provide basic amenities for girls in the hostel. They gathered at the girls hostel and held rasta roko and displayed placards showing their demands.
Hyderabad: Girl students of Osmania University staged a rasta roko on Friday in the campus premises demanding that the university provide basic amenities for girls in the hostel. They gathered at the girls hostel and held rasta roko and displayed placards showing their demands.
They wanted the Vice-Chancellor (VC) and other officials to take immediate steps to solve the issues being faced by them. Leaders of the girl students said that the hostels did not have enough water supply and the problem has been continuing for the past few months.
The food provided in the mess was of poor quality and they were unable to eat it. The leaders of girl students said that they have been giving representations to the VC and Director of University about the pathetic conditions prevailing in the hostels.
