Irrigation Minister Harish Rao spoke against Professor Kancha Ilaiah’s controversial book 'Komatollu Samjaika Smugglurlu’.
Condemning the professor’s derogatory comments against the Vysya community, he said that it is not right to abuse a community.
Harish Rao informed that the community members have met him and submitted a memorandum in this regard.
Asserting that the issue would be taken to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the Minister said that necessary action against him.
He added that it would be good if Kancha Ilaiah would take back his words and apologize to the community.
