A slap in the face of Congress: BJP

​Hyderabad: Former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya demanded an apology from former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi for making false propaganda against Hindus during the UPA regime.

Responding to National Investigation Agency’s Special Court verdict on Mecca Masjid bomb blast case here on Monday, he said the verdict was a slap in the face of the Congress, which had manufactured 'Saffron terror'.

He said it with evil intentions that the Congress had resorted to the propaganda of saffron terror, he said. BJP state president Dr K Laxman welcoming the verdict of the NIA court acquitting all the accused in the case, said it was a slap in the face of Congress and AIMIM.
