Hyderabad : Deputy Chief Minister (Education) Kadiam Srihari has dismissed reports of any irregularities in the website counselling for transfers of all the cadres from Headmasters, teachers and non teaching staff in the educational institutions.

Speaking to media persons in the State Secretariat on Monday, the Deputy CM he had received over 2,000 messages on his mobile phone requesting for stopping the website counselling. He said during the meeting held with leaders of teachers' unions, it was agreed upon to conduct website counselling. However, now demands are being made for manual counselling. Admitting of some server-related minor glitches on the website due to heavy traffic on the website, he announced that the date for submission of request for transfer has been extended for a day till June 26.

The Deputy CM said that the transfer of about 300 Headmasters was done through website counselling and almost 99% were satisfied with the process. He appealed for stopping the false propaganda regarding website counselling.

Earlier, the Deputy CM released the 1st class Telugu text book and also the new text books of all subjects from Class 1st to 6th.
