Prof Jayashankar remembered

Warangal: Rich tributes were paid to Telangana ideologue Prof K Jayashankar on the occasion of his 84th birth anniversary here on Monday. A host of dignitaries including Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, Mayor Nannapaneni Narender and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar who garlanded the statue of Prof Jayashankar at Ekashila park remembered his contribution to the Telangana Movement. The leaders said that Prof Jayashankar has always stood upright and never let the slogan ‘Jai Telangana’ die down.
