A Mancherial-based farmer committed suicide on Friday unable to deal with the crop damage caused by the heavy rains.
The farmer, identified as Chippakurthi Rajaiah, a resident of Baba Nagar in Ralligadpur Village chose to take the extreme step after his crop was completely damaged due to the rains.
Rajaiah was survived by his wife, daughter, and a son.
Based on the complaint filed by the members, a case has been registered and the investigation is underway.
