Hyderabad: The UGC - Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) of Maulana Azad National Urdu University is organising a refresher course in comparative literature from 4th to 21st September. Prof Shakeel Ahmad, Pro Vice-Chancellor, while inaugurating the course on Tuesday, outlined the objective of the programme and spoke about the importance of comparative literature in contemporary scenario.
The refresher course would retrieve the knowledge of participants and motivate them to be aware of the recent trends in the field of study, he remarked. Seventy eight teachers of different subjects like Urdu, English, Hindi, Arabic, Persian and Translation are taking part from various colleges and universities from different States.
