Nalgonda: State Media Academy secretary B Rajamouli on Wednesday urged the journalists of erstwhile Nalgonda district to utilise the two-day training programme to upgrade their knowledge on various issues. The programme will be held at the police auditorium in Nalgonda on September 8, 9, he added.

He informed that except Hyderabad and erstwhile Nalgonda district, journalist training programs were completed in other districts in the State. On day-1, the Energy Minister along with Rajya sabha member Badulgula Lingaiah Yadav will inaugurate the training programme.

Andhrajyothi desk incharge Mallesham “news papers language- mistakes- correction”, senior journalist Tankashala Ashok will address the journalists on “Achieved Telangana- Challenges in journalism”, so also HMTV CEO Srinvas Reddy will address on the topic “Social media- relation with print and electronic media”

On final day (day 2), District Collector Gaurav Uppal, SP AV Ranganath will participate in the meeting as guests. As part of the scheduled programme, Namaste Telangana editor Katta Shekar Reddy will create awareness among the journalists on “ rivers, water resources- irrigation projects”, CEO of Raj News Govind Reddy will address the scribes on “crime news- terminology “, so also V6 senior journalist Bucchanna will deliver lecture on “print and electronic media- co-relation” . At the closing session senior journalist, Budda Poornima, special officer Mallepally Laxmaiah will address the journalists on “social issues – role of media”.

He informed that the two-day training programme will start at 10 am and conclude at 5 pm and participant journalists will get certificates from the State media Academy. Interested journalists can register their names at their respective DPRO offices.
