Hyderabad: As roof crumbling incidents are becoming a regular at the Osmania General Hospital, OGH JAC decided to stage protests to expedite construction of new building and also to fix the ailing buildings. On Thursday, doctors from General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics wings conducted Out-Patients tests in the open area under trees inside hospital premises.
Patients were checked and given prescription by doctors outside the OP block from 9 am to 11.30 am. Dr Pandu Naik, chairman of OGH JAC said that they would intensify protests in coming days to ensure government and OGH administration takes concrete steps to address this serious issue. He said they will conduct OP inside by wearing helmets to save themselves from head injuries in case of any roof collapses.
