Hyderabad: Telangana State Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar instructed all the constituency-level election officials to download C-Vigil and Suvidha apps, which were recently launched by the Election Commission of India. He spoke to the district election officers through video conference at state election office on Thursday. C-Vigil app was recently launched to monitor the election code and the efficiency with which elections are conducted.

If photos or two-minute videos are uploaded through the app in an event of any violation of the election code, a message will be sent to the respective returning officer using GIS system, and the person who uploaded content will get a special reference number. Suvidha app helps political parties and candidates in getting necessary information. DRO K Madhusudhan Reddy, IT nodal officer Ravinder and others participated in the video conference.
