Nagarkurnool: Senior Congress leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Thursday mock at Minister Harish Rao for praising Nagarkurnool TRS MLA Marri Janardhan Reddy, during road show on Wednesday.
Nagam said that Harish Rao’s praise of Marri is laughable. During the 4 years of TRS rule, Marri Janardhan Reddy in his capacity as an MLA did nothing for the farmers, and unemployed youth. “For the past two years the farmers are undergoing various problems due to drying of crops in Nagarkurnool. What has Marri done to save their crops? Nothing”, Nagam said.
Nagam also took a pot shot at Harish Rao for claiming that the TRS have confidence of people. He said, “the TRS party is a sinking ship and no one is ready to believe KCR and his party leaders. They have lost the confidence of youth, unemployed graduates and the farmers who are undergoing various hardships because of lack of irrigation and drinking water in the villages.
Not a single eligible beneficiary in Nagarkurnool has got the double bedroom house which the TRS government promoted on highest priority. Their promise of KG-to-PG free education, providing of 2 lakh jobs, at least one individual in a family with government jobs and the Mission Bhageeratha safe drinking water through taps, not a single promise of TRS party and its chief KCR has been implemented in the district. So how do you think people will believe KCR,” said Nagam Janardhan Reddy.
Nagam said that the road show of Harish Rao was a pale show, he said that this itself clearly speaks volumes about KCR’s governance. He demanded the TRS party leaders and the state government to release a white paper, as to how many acres of land have received irrigation water to the farmers.
Lamenting against the TRS government and its atrocious policies, Nagam said that TRS party is definitely going to get a big shock in the form of unemployed youth, students, RTC workers and labour force that had earlier stood against KCR as his support.
“Harish comments have really left sad feeling for me. As they could not pool in people for the public meeting, the TRS cadres have brought in school students, which is violation of Election code. This evidently shows that the TRs party and its leaders have lost confidence of the people and giving false publicity of their dubious development.”
Nagam said by killing Nayyum in a fake encounter, the TRS government clearly showed its true colours. Except KCR and his family, no one has benefited from the formation of New Telangana State.
