Malkajgiri: Malkajgiri town committee Congress leader GD Srinivas organised a party workers’ meeting here on Monday and demanded that Congress contest from Malkajgiri. Party activists and leaders gathered here and demanded the party to give ticket to the Congress leader Nandikanti Sridhar. Referring to the reports of TJS being allowed to contest on behalf of grand alliance, Congress party activists said that it is unlikely for TJS to win the seat, as it has no base in the constituency.
GD Srinivas requested media to take the issue to the notice of party high command and see that Congress candidate gets the ticket. Mohammad Ali, Ramulu, Venu Naidu, AR Mallesh, Antony, Vinod Yadav, Vamshi, Gafoor, Asha, Rojaramani, Mary, Vijaya and others participated in the meeting.
