IT minister KT Rama Rao asked the students to make use of their right to vote by voting the candidate of their choice. In an interaction with students at Mallareddy Engineering College, KTR also said that they can also vote for NOTA if they did not like the candidates.

The minister also said that everyone should utilise their voting power in the democratic country.

"The IT exports have risen to Rs 1 lakh crores after Google, Apple, Facebook and more have announced to set up their companies in Hyderabad," said KTR adding that the city has to pip Bengaluru in IT exports.

Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, MP CH Mallareddy were also present at the meeting.
