Naveen Yadav gets carrom board symbol

Hyderabad: Election Commission of India allotted ‘carrom board’ symbol to the dissident leader of AIMIM party Naveen Yadav, who is now contesting from Jubilee Hills constituency as Independent candidate. Naveen Yadav who contested from AIMIM party from the same constituency in 2014 elections garnered more votes than TRS and Congress party candidates. TDP candidate Maganti Gopinath won the election and later joined TRS party.

This time, AIMIM candidate did not finalise the name of Naveen Yadav, hence he filed nomination as independent candidate. “I was informed about the symbol at midnight. I have been working for the development of constituency, which will help me in the contest,” Naveen Yadav told The Hans India.
