Musheerabad: Mandadi Anil Kumar, the Grand alliance candidate from Congress for Musheerabad constituency, campaigned, along with former deputy mayor Raj Kumar and TJS convener Narasaiah, in various colonies of Kavadiguda on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the development of the state is possible only with Congress Party. He explained about various promises included in the party’s manifesto, such as Rs 2 lakh loan waiver for farmers, free power up to 100 units, providing one-lakh jobs to youth and Rs 3,000 allowance to unemployed.
Thanking the leaders of alliance parties -- TDP, TJS and CPI -- for extending their support, he said that the support from the parties boosted the chances of his victory.
He expressed confidence that he would win the seat with a huge majority. Given the tremendous response from people, other party candidates are sure to lose their deposits, he added.
