Tandur: Congress leader Vijayashanthi said 2018 would be a victorious year for the Grand Alliance (GA) and would be remembered forever. She, along with Prof Kodandaram and MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, attended ‘Praja Bheri’ meeting held here on Wednesday. They came down heavily on TRS party and its chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).
Vijayashanthi criticised KCR for leveling charges against Sonia Gandhi, who realised the dream of Telangana State. She also said that KCR’s family was the only beneficiary after the formation of the new state. She appealed to the people to dethrone the TRS government and vote Congress to power. Citing the example of Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, who recently quit TRS, Vijayashanthi said KCR used people for his own purposes and betrayed them later. People would not bless him even though he was holding ‘Ashirwada’ meetings across the State. The three leaders appealed to the people to vote for Congress candidate Pilot Rohith Reddy and teach a lesson to TRS party.
