Anjan campaigns for son in Chikkadpally

Musheerabad: The city Congress president, Anjan Kumar Yadav campaigned for his son Anil Kumar Yadav, who is contesting from Musheerabad constituency, in various colonies in Chikkadpally division on Thursday. During the campaign, he urged people to teach the pink party a lesson by voting against the TRS family rule. Criticising comments against his son that he was just a kid, he recalled his first victory against former union minister Dattatreya in Parliament elections, after which he got elected consecutively for two terms.

He said Anil had experience of working as NSUI leader and was aware of public issues as the party youth president. With the blessings of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, Anil was sure to win the seat, he said. Meanwhile, several youth and women joined Congress party in the presence of Anil Kumar Yadav and Srinivas Yadav. Speaking on the occasion, Anil Kumar said that AICC president Rahul Gandhi wants youth to participate in politics and therefore has given a ticket to him to contest against BJP state president. He urged youth to explain voters about the corrupt rule of TRS party and strive for the victory of People’s Front. Several leaders of the front parties TDP, TJS and CPI participated in the campaign along with the candidate.
