Send thugs of TS packing: Khushboo

Hanamkonda: It’s time for the people to show their might to send packing the ‘thugs of Telangana’, who worked for their vested interests instead of focusing on the problems faced by the people, the AICC spokesperson Khushboo, who is here to campaign in support of the Telugu Desam Party Warangal West candidate Revuri Prakash Reddy backed by the People’s Front, said. She participated in a huge bike rally from Kazipet to MGM Hospital in Warangal on Monday.

Telangana State is top in the country but for wrong reasons, Khushboo said, earlier addressing a press conference. She said that Telangana stood second in the list of ‘crime against women’ in the country, an alarming development that the TRS government had achieved in the last four-and-a-half-year.

“KCR is anti-women as his Cabinet didn’t have single woman minister. This apart, the Telangana Women’s Commission is headless,” she said. The TRS government has done little to empower the women in the State. On the other hand, the Congress has the history of producing women, who reached to the top positions such as President, Prime Minister and Speaker, she said.
