Tandur: The leaders of People’s Front (PF) severely condemned the arrest of Executive President of Congress Party Revanth Reddy. Chevella MP Vishweshwar Reddy, Congress candidate for the Assembly Rohith Reddy, TJS leader Srisail Reddy, here on Tuesday expressed anger over the way police took Revanth into custody.
“Shocking to know 400 police men went to Revanth Reddy's house at 3am, broke his doors, picked him up and taken him to an unknown destination. Are we living in a Democracy? Is this the Telangana we fought for? What is happening?” saidVishweshwar Reddy.
The act is the murder of democracy, and it exposes the panic in TRS two days ahead of the polls, he said. People will not tolerate such autocratic behaviour and will give a firm reply by voting against the ruling party, he added.
