Internship Science Camp commences at UGC auditorium in JNTUH

Kukatpally: A five-day DST Inspire Internship Science Camp 2018, sponsored by CCST, IIST and JNTUH, commenced at UGC auditorium in JNTUH on Thursday. Padmabhushan Dr AV Rama Rao, chairman of Avra Laboratories, attended the programme as chief guest.
Prominent personalities who attended the programme include Professor Venugopal Reddy, the Vice-Chancellor of JNTUH, N Yadaiah, the Registrar of JNTUH, Dr Ramaiah, Dr N Purnachandra Rao and Professor B Venkateshwar Rao, the Director of IST.
Professor A Jayashree is the programme coordinator. As part of the programme, several prominent scientists and academicians delivered lectures to the intermediate students on scientific innovations, new developments in different fields of science, contributions of Nobel award recipients and other science and technology-related topics. A large number of students participated in the programme.
As part of the camp, the students would be taken to CSIR and IIST labs. CCST staff Professor Mukkanti, Dr PS Sai Prasad, Prof B Srinivasulu, Dr P Sadanandam, Dr V Jyothi, Dr Padmaja, Dr K Naveen, A Tejeshware Rao, K Priyanka, K Bhagya Shree, M Shankaraiah and T Janakiram participated in the progamme.
