Book on Telugu love stories released
A book entitled In the Mood for Love, authored by Aparna Thota and Venkat Siddareddy, was released at Revolt 20 hotel, here recently
Madhapur: A book entitled ‘In the Mood for Love’, authored by Aparna Thota and Venkat Siddareddy, was released at Revolt 2.0 hotel, here recently. The book discusses the anthology of twelve love stories from contemporary writers in Telugu. Addressing the gathering, writer Vadrevu Chinaveerabhadrudu said, "feeling proud to see this kind of change in Telugu literature where love stories, contemporary stories and novels are encouraged more”.
Aparna Thota and Venkat Siddareddy said “so far, the contribution of love stories in Telugu literature is very minimal. Usually, for beginners, love stories become the entry points into literature, but people are turning more towards film industry as Tollywood did not produce enough of stories with love as a central theme. The authors said the book will be available at Book fair. Nagendra Kasi, Mahy Bezwada, Karuna Kumar, Aripirala Satyaprasad, Midhuna, Swathi, Ushha Jyothi, Purnima Tammireddy, Rishi Srinivas and Manasa Yedluri were the other contributors.
