Bhadrachalam: Sarvadevatha Alankaram programme was conducted here in the Lord Rama temple on Wednesday. Every year this programme is conducted on 16th day after the Mukkoti festival. This year, the Mukkoti celebrations were conducted from December 8 to 18 in the temple on grand scale. After that the Rapathu celebrations and Vilas utsavams were celebrated. On Wednesday, Sarvadevatha Alankaramseva was conducted colourfully.
The importance of the Sarvadevatha Alankaramseva is that only one program is conducted at only temple at the historical shrine, said priests. They said the programme was conducted in the evening hours on the temple premises. A separate stage was arranged for the seva programme and Ekaradhana in one go was performed to all deities, they added.
A special prasadam, which is called kadambam, was also distributed to the people after the seva program in the temple. Large number of devotees attended the seva and offered prayers. The temple authorities made separate arrangements for darshan on occasion.
