Famous Hyderabad restaurant Bawarchi hotel at RTC crossroads was seized by GHMC officials in the afternoon on Monday for not maintaining the dry and wet waste management guidelines
Hyderabad: Famous Hyderabad restaurant Bawarchi hotel at RTC crossroads was seized by GHMC officials in the afternoon on Monday for not maintaining the dry and wet waste management guidelines.
Under the supervision of GHMC circle-15 AMHO Dr Hemalatha, officials conducted the raid and closed down the hotel.
Hemalatha speaking to media said that, in spite of giving so many warning notices to hotel organizers to separate the dry and wet wastage and to install the organic waste converter machine, but the hotel organizers have not responded to the notices issued.
GHMC officials expressed anger on the Bawarchi hotel management for leaving the wast particles into manholes and blocking the drainage system. Since 2016 GHMC is giving the notices to the hotel, but they have not acted on them, she said.
GHMC officials also served notices to Astoria Restaurant and other hotels at RTC crossroads.
