Urban health centre inaugurated

Kukatpally: Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi inaugurated the government urban health centre at Venkateshwara Nagar Weaker Section of 122 divisions on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he urged the poor people to avail of the free services offered by the health center.
He said that the government medical staff is striving not only to provide medical treatment, but also taking preventive measures to contain diseases. Through regular medical tests, diseases can be identified at a primary stage and several lives can be saved, he opined.
Later, the MLA felicitated the doctors of the health centre and thanked them for their services. The local Corporator M Lakshmi Bhai also attended the inauguration. Ward members, area committee members, political party leaders and activists were present on the occasion.
