Teakwood logs worth 50,000 seized
Speaking on the occasion, Inspector Sagar warned serious action would be taken against wood poachers and police and forest departments have been watching their movements
Mancherial: The Task Force officials had seized teakwood logs worth Rs 50,000 within CCC Naspur police station limits here on Tuesday. Acting on tip-off, Task Force Inspector Sagar along with his team arrested Lakshminarayana and K Sadanandam and seized a auto trolley in which teakwood was being transported from Sangamalliah Palli village to Srirampur. Later they handed the arrested persons and seized logs to the forest officers concerned.
Speaking on the occasion, Inspector Sagar warned serious action would be taken against wood poachers and police and forest departments have been watching their movements. Task Force Sub-Inspector Sammaiah, CCC Naspur SI Pramod Reddy, Forest Deputy Range Officer Hafeez, Sampath Kumar, Bhaskar Goud and others participated in the search operation.
