Kodangal: Vennela Satyam, the Telugu Teacher from Choudaripalli High School in the mandal, received ‘Ranjani Kundurthi’ award from Prof N Gopi, poet Asharaju, B Devadas and Accountant General Sudheer Kumar at a function organised at AG Office in Hyderabad on Wednesday. He bagged the award for his poetry named ‘Granthalayam’.

Prof Gopi said receiving this award means going a step further in the area of poetry. He hailed the organiser for presenting this award continuously for 30 years. Head Master of Choudaripalli High School, Srihari Reddy, teachers Mallikarjun, Gopal, Narender Singh, Manohar, Manjula and others praised Satyam for his achievement.
