MLA urges GHMC to clean up stream

Hydernagar: Local MLA Arekapudi Gandhi on Monday inspected the desilting works of Bheemunikunta stream. The MLA directed the GHMC officials to remove the piled-up garbage and filth from the water body expeditiously, so as to allow a free flow of sewerage. Arekapudi impressed upon the officials to complete the works quickly, so that the stream could be used by the local residents. He called upon the people not to dump plastic and garbage in the stream, while adopting ‘Swatchta’. Water Works Inspector Mahadev, TRS leaders Raju Yadav, Erragadda Srinivas Yadav and local residents were present on the occasion.
