Shabad: Worship of parents was organised, here at PRR Mini Stadium on Thursday while the world was celebrating Valentine’s Day. Students from different schools gathered here to worship their parents. The children garlanded the elders, applied Kumkum and performed puja. Later, the parents hugged their children and showered blessings. Participants and visitors hailed Sri Yoga Vedantha Samithi for organising such programme.
The idea of celebrating worship day for the parents by Asaram Bapu way back in 12 years, is slowly catching up. The idea was widely accepted by different religions. Students also pledged that they would organise the programme every year instead of celebrating Valentine’s day. Dr Amarnath, Sharatchandra, Parameshwara Naidu, Ashram Sanchalak Gulshan Bhai, Lingam and others were present.
