Hyderabad: Hundreds of students and youths from different colleges took out a rally under the aegis of the Anti-Terrorism Forum (ATF) in the city here on Friday. The protestors raised slogans "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and marched through the main roads, lanes and by-lanes in Dilsukhnagar condemning the dastardly attack against the security forces by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 42 CRPF personnel were killed.
The protestors reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of the country, and that the people of the country stand solidly behind the security forces operating under several constraints. Condoning the deaths of the security personnel, the protestors demanded a direct action against the terrorist outfits to neutralise their perpetrators and directors from across the border.
ATF national convener Ravinuthala Sashidhar said that the security forces have been operating for the last four years under several constraints in Jammu and Kashmir and that they brought marked changes by flushing out terrorists. Besides, the forces have been successful in preventing the infiltrations from across the borders foiling the evil design of Pakistan.
Sashidhar said that the creation of job opportunities for the last four years and encouraging the young people in that State to take up self-employment in several sectors have hit the designs of those trying to recruit them to execute their evil designs in J&K. The attacks are meant to scuttle the restoration of peace and to bring normalcy in the valley, he alleged. ATF state convener S Brahmachari organised the protests and Ashok Sridhar Reddy, Raghupathi, Vikas, Naveen Sailaja, Susmita, Bharathi, Srinivas, Venkatesh, Prakash and others led the students.
