Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president K T Rama Rao on Sunday paid floral tributes to Pulwama martyrs at CRPF Headquarters, Southern sector. Speaking to the CRPF officials, Rama Rao said that he was visiting the CRPF Southern Sector HQ and paying tributes as a responsible citizen of the nation.
In his personal capacity, Rama Rao handed over a cheque of Rs 25 lakh and another cheque of Rs 25 lakh from his friends who volunteered to contribute. He handed over the cheques to G H P Raju, Inspector General of Police, CRPF, Southern sector.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences. Indians will never forget the martyrs' sacrifices. They will continue to remain in our hearts and prayers,” he said. “I hope for the speedy recovery of all the CRPF jawans who were injured in the incident,” he added. “We live in a large democracy which feels safe today, primarily, because of the men in uniform,” K T Rama Rao said.
