Basheerbagh: Former chairman of Telangana state SC corporation and Madiga JAC founder president Pidamarthi Ravi said that a public meeting ‘Madiga Shankaravam’ would be held near Indira Park to discuss SC categorisation, reservations in private sector and madiga welfare building. He was speaking at a meeting of Hyderabad and Rangareddy district madiga and sub-castes of Madiga held here on Monday.
Criticising Krishna Madiga for his blackmail politics during elections and terming him a political chameleon, Ravi held him responsible for delay in the SC categorisation. The meeting would discuss issues related to madiga community such as their rights, categorization and reservations, he said. He appealed madigas to attend the meeting in large number and make it a grand success. Women president Jeeva Madiga, state president Itika Raju, general secretary Ramesh, Yadagiri, Yellesh Madiga, Upender and others participated in the meeting.
