LB Nagar: Local legislator Devireddy Sudheer Reddy on Monday demanded the State government to inaugurate the sky flyover at LB Nagar Junction. During Assembly session, he met the secretary to the chief minister and brought the issue to his notice. Later speaking to press persons, Devireddy Sudheer Reddy said that the junction gets crowded with thousands of vehicles during peak hours where the road leads to Vijayawada and other major cities in both Telugu States. He said that traffic jams were regularly occurring from Siris Company onwards. The legislator said that to clear the traffic woes to the public the construction of flyover was started and it was completed long back. Devireddy Sudheer Reddy said that it was right time to open the flyover by the Chief Minister. But he was unable to meet the CM. He said that earlier he met GHMC Commissioner on the same issue but nothing happened. He suggested that the flyover could be thrown open to the public as its official inauguration could be delayed because of the code of conduct for elections to MLC and Lok Sabha. He said the Chief Minister could inaugurate the flyover after the elections.
