Reach target of 680 lakh tonnes coal production by March end, SCCL told

Kothagudem: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar directed the company’s General Managers to transport 2 lakh 20 tonnes of coal daily in the month of March and reach the target of 680 lakh tonnes of coal production this financial year.

Speaking at a meeting held with company’s Directors and General Managers in Hyderabad on Friday. The CMD expressed happiness over required transport of the coal in the earlier months. He also reviewed the production of coal and its transport in the meeting with the Company officials.

He suggested the officials to continue the team work and reach the target of 680 lakh tonnes of coal production this financial year. As March is the last month of the financial year, he directed the officials to see to it that company reaches the set target.

Company Directors S Shanker, S Chandrasekhar, B Bhasker Rao, N Balaram, Executive Director J Alwyn and General Managers of all areas attended the meeting.
