Adilabad: Women are likely to get majority of seats in ZPTC and MPP elections to be held as the government has allotted 50 per cent reservations to them across the State.

In Adilabad district, nine out of the 17 Gram Panchayats are reserved for women. ZPTCs of Mavala, Bela, Boath, Jainath, Echoda, Sirikonda, Indervelli, Gadiguda and Utnoor are reserved for women. While MPPs of Mavala, Bazarhathnoor, Bela, Tamsi, Bheempur, Talamadugu, Narnoor and Gadiguda were reserved for women.

In Nirmal district, ZPTC seats of Nirmal Rural, Dasturabad (new), Khanapur, Mamada, Kubeer, Kuntala, Mudhole, Lokeshwaram and Tanoor are reserved for women and MPP seats of Soan (new), Dilawarpur, Narsapur (G), Mamada, Laxmanachanda, Kubeer, Mudhole Basar (new), Lokeshwaram and Tanoor gram panchayats are reserved for women.

In Mancherial district, eight gram panchayats out of the 16 are reserved for women. ZPTCs of Hajipur, Jaipur, Bheemaram, Kotapalli, Dandepally, Vemanapally, Nennel and Bheemini are reserved for women and MPP seats of Hajipur, Jaipur, Bheemaram, Luxettipet, Vemanapalli, Nennel and Bheemini are reserved for women.

In Komaram Bheem - Asifabad district, ZPTC seats of Sirpur (U), Lingapur (new), Kerameri, Bejjur, Penchikalpet (new), Koutala, Chintalamanepalli (new) and Sirpur (T) and MPP seats of Tiryani, Wankadi, Rebbena, Bejjur, Penchikalpet (new), Dahegaon and Jainoor are reserved for women.
