Vikarabad: District Collector Masrat Khanam Aisha said that the State government has set up several Gurukula patashalas for the advancement of students belonging to all sections of the society. She advised all the students to work hard to scale great heights in their chosen fields. She was speaking at an awareness programme organised at Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institute Society (TMREIS) at Shiva Reddy Peta here on Thursday.

The Collector informed that as many as six schools were sanctioned for the district, out of which two each for Vikarabad and Tandur and one each for Parigi and Kodangal, among which four for girls and remaining for boys. She asked the people to avail the services that were being offered. She explained to the students about the method of getting admissions in schools. District Minority Welfare Officer Sabitha, school principal Pakira Ratnavat, RTO Dr Vani, students, parents and others were present on the occasion.
