Filmmaker P Suneel Kumar Reddy says his film ‘Gulf’ will inspire the migrant workers around the world as it is based on the experiences of several immigrants, especially from Indian sub-continent.

The film tells a story of a youngster, who is frustrated with his financial growth in his traditional occupation of weaving clothes.

"Due to the lack of proper job prospects in his hometown and the peer pressure to make riches he chooses to migrate to gulf region," Reddy said.

"There are many success stories and also some failure stories in this region. This film intended to discuss various case studies in an entertaining fashion."

Reddy said that the contribution of Gulf migrants to the Indian sub-continent is enormous and the film will be an effort to bring attention
to their sacrifices and respect they deserve.
"This film also explains how lack of understanding of the law of the land often brings trouble to migrants," he said.

The film, featuring Chetan Maddineni, Santhosh Pawan, Anil Kalyan and Dimple, is in final stages of shooting.
