Bharat Ane Nenu's Record At Chennai Box Office
Super Star Mahesh Babu is trying to have a good market for himself in other film industries. In the process, he has started to release his movies in Chennai. After making his Tamil debut with the movie SPYder, the actor decided to take careful steps in Tamil film industry. Instead of dubbing his latest film Bharat Ane Nenu, the makers decided to release the Telugu version in Chennai.

The theatres strike also pushed the makers into a confusion mode, but they released the movie at the last minute.
In spite of the last minute release and a massive release of Avengers release in the second week, Bharat Ane Nenu created a unique record in Tamilnadu, especially at the Chennai box office. The film has become the second most significant Telugu Grosser in the state after Baahubali 2.
