Notification for 33,738 jobs

Direct recruitment by departments

State government has issued orders authorizing various recruiting agencies for filling of 33,738 vacant posts through direct recruitment.A Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission would recruit 11,250 persons to fill up the vacancies in various departments including marketing, agriculture, Acharya Ranga Agricultural University, fisheries, animal husbandry, backward classes welfare, civil supplies, A P Pollution Control Board, forest, Forest Development Corporation, Transco and Discoms, finance, pay and accounts office, information and public relations and college, intermediate and technical education, archives, police, higher education, medical and health, family welfare, housing, industries and commerce, irrigation, municipal administration, law, labour, panchayatraj and rural development, planning, revenue and social welfare.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has already made announcement in this regard and orders were issued on Monday. G.O.Ms.No.132 says it will be direct recruitment.A Likewise, the departmental selection committees would fill up 10,865 posts through its committees in various departments such as APCO, animal husbandry, Transco and Discoms, higher education, medical and health, family welfare and A P Finance Corporation.

The state level AP Police Recruitment Board would recruit 11,623 posts of different categories like sub-inspectors, fireman, station fire officer, warder, traffic constable and police constables.
